THE TEW RADIO FACTOR'S NEW SPONSOR

SECURE DELETE PRO

We are happy to announce that The TEW Radio Factor have teamed up with Secure Delete Pro. With all the recent press about identity theft, governments losing personal data and so on, more and more people are becoming understandably worried about the privacy of their own computers. And not just from the prospect of identity fraud, but from snooping partners, employers, and even law enforcement agencies! After all, nearly everyone has some data that they would rather not share with others - passwords, personal information, classified documents from work, financial records, browsing history, the list is endless. You might think once you're done with this data, you just delete it and it's gone from your computer forever, right? Wrong, Are You Protected We are proud to have Secure Delete Pro as a sponsor and hope that our listener's and reader's will take advantage of Secure Delete Pro! Make sure you are safe!

Slam step up for Sci-Fi Hi-Fi 5

Slam finally have a stab at their own label mix series. Sci-Fi Hi-Fi. Volume 5 drops early July.

Slam, aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle, run Scottish techno institution Soma Records, but until now they've shied away from the label's Sci-Fi Hi-Fi. mixes, doling out the mixing duties instead to label regulars Ewan Pearson, Alex Smoke and Funk D'Void as well as names less familiar to the label such as Luciano.

For Volume 5, the pair opted to do a proper club mix including older tracks from the last twelve months as well as more current selections from the likes of Matthias Tanzmann, D'Julz and Cle. The mix also includes cuts from new Soma finds Decimal and Jandroide plus fresh Slam material from their new label Paragraph.

"This mix is a tribute to our Return To Mono night at the Sub Club in Glasgow," says Meikle. "Some of the biggest records from the night feature. For us it was important that all the tracks were carefully selected, so we haven’t shied away from some older tracks that are big in character and in our DJ sets."
