THE TEW RADIO FACTOR'S NEW SPONSOR

SECURE DELETE PRO

We are happy to announce that The TEW Radio Factor have teamed up with Secure Delete Pro. With all the recent press about identity theft, governments losing personal data and so on, more and more people are becoming understandably worried about the privacy of their own computers. And not just from the prospect of identity fraud, but from snooping partners, employers, and even law enforcement agencies! After all, nearly everyone has some data that they would rather not share with others - passwords, personal information, classified documents from work, financial records, browsing history, the list is endless. You might think once you're done with this data, you just delete it and it's gone from your computer forever, right? Wrong, Are You Protected We are proud to have Secure Delete Pro as a sponsor and hope that our listener's and reader's will take advantage of Secure Delete Pro! Make sure you are safe!

Breakspoll opens for voting

Breakspoll will once again dish out trophies to the best and brightest producers and DJs of the past year at the 7th Annual Breakbeat Awards at Fabric on Thursday, February 28.

This year’s Breakspoll ballot includes a new Best Live Act category so many DJs will be eschewing their turntables for a backing band and synth rig at the ceremony. Elder statesmen like Rennie Pilgrem and the Dub Pistols are set to rock room one, while fresh upstarts Deekline & Wizard and Slyde will take on room two. Behind the decks you’ll also catch the likes of Krafty Kuts, Meat Katie & Lee Coombs and Baobinga & ID.

But Breakspoll wouldn’t be Breakspoll without a vote, which is open to the masses until February 15. Nominees in each category will be announced a week later. Last year’s winners include Krafty Kuts (Best DJ), who’ll be crossing his fingers for a fourth straight win; Mantra Breaks (Best Label), which upset Finger Lickin’ Records after four years on top; and Far Too Loud (Best Single) for their techy peaktimer ‘Get High.’ You can take a peep at this year’s lineup and past winners plus cast your vote at Breakspoll.com.

After the lights go up at Fabric on Friday morning, you’ll only have to wait out one miserable afternoon before another night of bassbin-bashing breaks, as the Breakspoll Aftershow Party will take on club Herbal in Shoreditch. DJs on this night include Freestylers, Tom Real & The Rogue Element, Splitloop and Si Begg.
