Resin Dogs to work with Britney's producer

Ok, so the headline makes this sound a whole lot worse than it really is… but Aussie live hip hop favourites the Resin Dogs are busy packing their bags at present, with a visit to the USA to work with famed producer J.T. Meskiel on the horizon. The six-time Grammy winning studio legend has produced superstars like U2, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, and of course everyone’s favourite skinhead pop-tart Britney Spears.

Riding high on the success of their album ‘More’, released late in 2007, the Resin Dogs have spent the summer touring the country, winning new fans for their ‘funk-drenched hip hop’ sound. The band first made contact with Meskiel in August last year after he put out a call to find “the best hip hop track producers on the planet”. The Dogs submitted a 7 track EP, which featured their singles ‘Coming with the Sound’ and ‘Caught Up’, and were personally selected by Meskiel and offered a three-day stint at his Malibu studio The Document Room this March.
