After all, nearly everyone has some data that they would rather not share with others - passwords, personal information, classified documents from work, financial records, browsing history, the list is endless. You might think once you're done with this data, you just delete it and it's gone from your computer forever, right? Wrong, Are You Protected We are proud to have Secure Delete Pro as a sponsor and hope that our listener's and reader's will take advantage of Secure Delete Pro! Make sure you are safe!

Pacha confirms Pete Tong's departure

Created On January 30th, 2008 by i_have_ADD

Pacha chief Danny Whittle chatted to Skrufff recently about the widely circulated rumours that Pete Tong is quitting Friday nights at the Ibiza club, declaring ‘since everyone now seems to know I will give you a quote’.

“After five successful years together Pete Tong and Pacha have decided to go their separate ways,” Danny confirmed. “I have heard Pete has decided to take up residency in Eden nightclub in San An (San Antonio), although I’m sure Pete could tell you more regarding this.”

One website suggested the Radio 1 icon has been wooed to Eden for a fee of £100,000 per gig, while Beatport instead quoted anonymous sources who said the move signals that he is ‘finally be nearing the end of his long and highly successful DJ career’. Pete himself, however, was unavailable for comment, flying down to Rio for a brief tour.

Danny Whittle also stressed Pacha are delighted with pre-season VIP ticket sales and said they’re equally enthusiastic about picking a new roster of DJs, including Sander Kleinenberg, Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Trentemoller. “Although we are a little sad for Pete to go we will be continuing with Pure Pacha on Friday night,” said Danny.

“Now we are through the uncertainty part of Pete leaving we are really excited about doing something different on Friday night. It is a huge night of the week and gives us the opportunity to present some different and fresher line ups to the weekly calendar,” he said.

Pacha’s new season starts on May 30 this year.
