After the repeated success of the greatest event of the summer, Underage Festival returns to bring seasonal cheer to a no-adults crowd at the Scala during the short, dark days of December for an Underage Festival Christmas Special, its first indoor extravaganza.

Underage collaborators CONVERSE host the main stage and it features the hottest line up around. Not to be out done in any way, shape or form ARTROCKER have lovingly cherry picked the best in underground music for the NEW BLOOD stage. This room is dedicated to the NEW BLOOD section of Artrocker Magazine, which is supported by Conversemusic.co.uk and pushes the newest and freshest talent in the biggest way possible. This includes interviews in the magazine, FREE MP3 downloads on conversemusic.co.uk and Live events such as this with NEW BLOOD bands.

Death Before Distemper 2: Revenge of the Iron Ferret

DC Recordings issues a new label compilation featuring tracks from Padded Cell, Bot’ox, The Emperor Machine and more. Death Before Distemper 2: Revenge of the Iron Ferret drops in June.

In business since the mid-nineties, UK DC Recordings concentrates on leftfield dance music and beyond, collected here in a new volume of the Death Before Distemper series. Volume two features newer DC artists including And the Lefhanded from Finland, Bo’Tox aka Cosmo Vitelli, as well as DC regulars Padded Cell, Kelpe and label head J. Saul Kane aka Depth Charge.

Ovum vs. Poker Flat

Acid techno pioneer Josh Wink and Poker Flat boss Steve Bug are teaming up to show off their label wares at the Miami WMC this year.

Wink and Bug might seem like unlikely bedfellows, but the two have tangoed on dancefloors before: Bug released 'Houze/Summer Nights' and remixed Wink's '516 Acid' on the Philly stable in 2004, while last year Wink made his debut on the Hamburg imprint with 'Thick as Thieves'.

For the joint showdown, both labels have called in their biggest recruits. Shlomi Aber, the young Israeli behind the jittery synths on last year's ubiquitous 'Freakside', joins Wink for a rare DJ set while Bug is bringing along two of the label's star DJ weapons in Martin Landsky and Argy.
