This summer in New York City, Sunday will no longer just be for resting: the Sunday Best series will host a barbecue with a number of big name DJs in a spot near the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn each weekend throughout the season.Chicago house mainstay Roy Davis Jr. will kick off the weekly on May 25th with Trus’me, Stefan Goldmann, Riton, Kevin Saunderson, Move D, John Tejada and among the many highlights throughout the summer.
The party will have food provided by Sweet Deliverance and will be held in The Yard, with the kinda-sorta-but-not-really picturesque Gowanus Canal as a backdrop. APT’s Justin Carter, FUN resident Eamon Harkin and Water Taxi Beach party resident Doug Singer are slated to open each Sunday. At $8 per, what are you waiting for?
