Audion, Radio Slave and The Field retool Sasha on a new remix album on emFire. The emFire Collection - Mixed, Unmixed & Remixed drops next month.
Disc one of the 2CD set includes new Slam, Audion and Radio Slave remixes of the first three Sasha releases on emFire. There is also a remix by The Field of 'Mongoose', the Sasha track originally slated for release on the anonymous Rebelone series which turned up on white label after distributors Amato went bust.
All four remixers on the disc were invited to hand in one club and one more leftfield mix for the collection. The second disc includes Sasha's own re-edits as well as his forty-minute score to the surf doco New Emissions Of Light & Sound.
